Elizabeth “Betty” Serfozo, age 92, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Her passing marks the end of a remarkable life filled with warmth, laughter, and devotion to those she loved.

Betty was born on May 10, 1934, in Springfield, Minnesota, the daughter of Wenzel and Marie (Wraneschitz) Sellner. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stephen, with whom she shared 63 wonderful years of marriage, as well as her nine siblings. Betty and Stephen were united in marriage on June 18, 1955, in Saint Paul, Minnesota. They began their life together in Minneapolis before settling in Milwaukee, where they raised a beautiful family of five children.

Betty’s life was a testament to the joy of family and friends. She is survived by her devoted children, Vicki (Tim) Anderson of Sussex, WI; Cheri (Glen) Sauer of Cape Coral, FL; Steve (Vanessa) Serfozo of Menomonee Falls, WI; Gary (Julie) Serfozo of De Pere, WI; and Scott Serfozo of Mukwonago, WI. She leaves behind seven adoring grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; her brother, Jerry (Anita) Sellner of Burnsville, MN; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Betty worked as a bar manager at Silver Bird Lanes for many years, retiring in 1994. Her role was more than just employment; it was a place where she connected with people and shared her vibrant spirit. In her personal life, Betty was passionate about family, friends, traveling, and playing cards. She loved her life as a “snowbird,” traveling between Wisconsin and Florida.

She was a proud member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano, WI. Her faith was an important part of her life, providing her with strength and comfort.
