Doyne Lee Parmelee

Doyne L. Parmelee Passed away peacefully at Season’s hospice on April 8, 2022 at the age of 87. Doyne is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jerelyn Parmelee. Loving father of Steve (Dawn) Parmelee, Sue Anderson, Mike (Nancy) Parmelee. Proud grandfather of Nicholas Parmelee, Ashely (Aaron) Crosby, Max Anderson, and Calvin Anderson. Great grandfather of Arthur James Crosby. Also survived by extended family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Harold and Lillian; Brother: Jim Parmelee and Sister: Betty Wolfe. Doyne was born in Marshfield, WI and later attended college at UW Stevens Point and UW Madison. In 1961 he and Jerelyn moved to South Milwaukee where he taught chemistry and physics for 30 years at the high school, retiring in 1991. Doyne will be sadly missed by all. We would like to thank the entire staff at Season’s Hospice for the great care they gave to our dad. A private service will be held at a later date.
