Obituary

With profound sadness we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Diane Robinson (Holinka), who departed this life on May 28, 2026, at the age of 61 in her home in Milwaukee, WI.

Diane Robinson (Holinka) was born on November 9, 1964, in La Crosse, WI, to Damian and Marianne Holinka. She was the eighth of ten siblings in a large and loving family; a role that helped shape her caring nature, strong family values, and deep appreciation for the bonds she shared with her brothers and sisters. Diane’s family and friends were the center of her life. She married Brian Robinson in 2004 in a beautiful ceremony in the Dominican Republic.

Known affectionately throughout her life as TT, Diangela, Dolly, or simply Di—Diane brought a unique spirit of laughter wherever she went.

Diane was a graduate of Aquinas High School and Viterbo College with a degree in Nursing. She devoted 38 years of her life to a career in nursing, a profession that perfectly reflected her compassionate nature and desire to help others. She cared for countless patients throughout her career; providing comfort, support, and skilled care to those in need. And likely a good bit of entertainment. Her dedication, professionalism, and genuine concern for others earned the respect of her colleagues and the gratitude of the many lives she touched.

Outside of her work, Diane had a tremendous passion for sports and was an enthusiastic fan who rarely missed the opportunity to cheer on her favorite teams. She faithfully followed the Milwaukee Brewers and Bucks, Green Bay Packers, and Dallas Cowboys. She also enjoyed watching Wisconsin Badger football, hockey, and volleyball, taking great pride in supporting Wisconsin athletics. Game days brought her countless opportunities to connect with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Brian Robinson and his son’s (Ish & Nile); mother, Marianne Holinka; brothers: Ron Holinka (Monica), Jerry Holinka (Holly), Pat Holinka (Kathy) and Joe Holinka (Vicki), along with her sisters: Jean Nederloe (Steve), Ann Solie (Jon), Mary Liegel, and Angie Stodola (Craig), who will cherish her memory and carry her love in their hearts forever. She has many cherished nieces and nephews who brought her immense joy. She treasured her role as TT Diane, celebrating milestones, sharing stories, and creating lasting memories with generations of family members. She was preceded in death by her father, Damian, and brother, Jeff Holinka.

Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we are grateful for the time we shared with Diane. Her love, wisdom, generous heart, vibrant spirit, and colorful stories will remain with us always. The compassion she showed throughout her life and career will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A celebration of life will be held for family and friends in Milwaukee to celebrate her life and honor her memory. There will be more details to come as it is still being planned.

Memorial donations may be made in Diane’s memory to the American Cancer Society.

May she rest in peace, and may her memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her.
