Dennis Lee Markiewicz

April 15, 1964 — January 23, 2024

Dennis Lee Markiewicz, also known as SR, passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 59 in Muskego, Wisconsin. Born on April 15, 1964, in Milwaukee, Dennis was a beloved individual who will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Dennis led a fulfilling life, leaving a lasting impact on those around him. He was known for his goofy nature and caring personality. Dennis had an eagerness and determination to help others, always putting their needs before his own. His compassionate and smart nature made him a true friend to many. Dennis was a loving father who raised three wonderful children (Dennis, David, and Melissa) despite facing numerous challenges. He created many cherished memories with his children, and his dedication to them was truly admirable. Dennis had a special bond with his sister, Pat, whom he admired and enjoyed spending time with. They embarked on vacations together and shared countless laughs and jokes. Although Dennis still owed her some quarters, their relationship was filled with love and admiration. His bond with brother-in-law, Juan, was cemented through shared passions, including fishing and home remodeling projects, as well as vacationing together.

In his professional life, Dennis worked for several organizations. He dedicated his time and skills to Franklin Mechanical Heating and Cooling, Urban Heating, Georgia Nut, and Buddy Squirl. Not only was he a valued employee, but he also held the position of Manager of Maintenance, overseeing various duties with the utmost dedication. He cracked the code to management, nuts and bolts included.

Outside of work, Dennis had a wide range of hobbies that brought him joy and fulfillment. He had a passion for fishing, shooting, and racing RC cars. He enjoyed attending car shows, fixing things, and indulging in occasional gambling. Dennis loved listening to music and movies on his stereo systems, going on vacations, and cruising. He was also an avid bowler and enjoyed socializing over drinks with friends and loved ones.

Dennis will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and unwavering dedication to those he cared about. Dennis was the jack-of-all-trades with a heart of gold, always ready to lend a tool or a hand to anyone in need; a true testament to his character and the remarkable person he was. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those he touched. The void left by his departure is immeasurable, but he is survived by heartfelt memories and enduring affection from all who were privileged to know him. He will be profoundly missed and forever remembered with love and respect.

Preceded in death by Gloria and Jerome Markiewicz and Michael Markiewicz. Survived by Dennis Jorgensen (Mitchell); Melissa Markiewicz-Repinski (Rachel); David Markiewicz; Patricia Gutierrez (Juan); along with many other relatives and friends.

He leaves his legacy behind for us to cherish and honor. As we say our goodbyes, let's tune our stereo systems to Dennis's favorite bands (AC/DC, Metallica, Pink Floyd, and Gun N Roses) and raise a toast to a man who was truly admired and respected by many. Here's to Dennis— may his memory be a reminder to always help others and to always spare a moment for fun.
