Debra A. Ruiz

Debra Ann Ruiz, 70, passed away on April 19, 2025, in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Born on March 20, 1955, Debra lived a vibrant life marked by her big heart and strong personality. She found joy in the simple beauty of gemstones and crystals.

Her involvement with American Legion Post #27 formed lasting connections and contributed to her community.

Above all else, Debra cherished her role as a grandmother. Her love for her grandchildren—Valleri Ruiz, Rocco Ruiz, and Vayda Marney—was boundless and brought light to every chapter of her life. She also leaves behind her beloved son, Tony Ruiz.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Angeline Iczkowski.

A private memorial service will be held with immediate family and close friends to honor Debra’s memory in an intimate gathering of those who knew her best.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in remembrance of Debra’s enduring spirit. May the memory of Debra Ann Ruiz shine as brightly as the crystals she adored and bring comfort to all whose lives she touched.
