Dawn Marie Gregory

Our beloved sister Dawn Marie Gregory, passed away on October 16, 2021 at the age of 56. She is survived by her loving sisters Fawn (Corey, Elissa) and Shauna (Noah, Shae, Jacob), her brother Lloyd (Seng, Luke, Ben), her father Richard Gregory (Karen); her mother Linda Fredenburg (Maurice) and sister Lana; her Aunts Sandy, Rose and Valerie; her Uncle Gary, Aunt Karen and cousins Courtney and Stephanie; foster siblings Sara, Clint and Angela. She is also survived by a large extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved “Grandpa Herbie” (Herbert Wendorf), her foster father Ralph Chadwick, Grandma Dorothy Bennett and Grandpa Lloyd Gregory. Dawn spent much of her life working with the elderly, she loved all of her patients so much and had a loving and caring way that made her a natural caretaker. She loved her dogs Nana, Lucy and Mackie more than anything. She saved another (Sara), from abuse who eventually found a forever home with Fawn. Dawny was incredibly artistic and talented, when she was younger she loved to draw and then she later used her creative talents to turn junk into useful beautiful pieces that she would display in the most amazing ways in her home. Dawny was the O.G. of upcycling, like before upcycling was made cool on Pinterest. She had a green thumb that was the envy of her sisters and niece who have the ability to even kill fake plants. She was a Yarnie who loved crocheting or just having the yarn in baskets EVERYWHERE that were easily tripped over. Sometimes she even finished a project and gifted it to a lucky sister. Dawny loved many things and accomplished many things, but her most favorite thing in the world was to be laughing with her sisters. She was our light in the dark from the earliest memories we shared. She was dependable when it truly really mattered. She had a beautiful soul and an infectious laugh. She will forever be missed. A Celebration of Life will be held between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on November 10, 2021 at: Max Sass and Sons Funeral Home 1515 W Oklahoma Ave Milwaukee, WI 53215 In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation to an animal rescue, no kill shelter or an animal charity of your choice in Dawn’s name.
