David A. Bennett Sr. was a loving Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather and Friend. Â Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him knew he was Papa Bennett, also known as “Bug” to his family, “Dave” to his friends and “Papa B” to everyone else who encountered him.

He is survived by his beloved and ever-loving wife Ella of 50 years, his son, David (Kyong) Bennett Jr., daughters Louise Bennett, Leza (Frederick) Bennett-Mccall and Myra (Prince) Marish, his Godchildren, grand and great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He was the son of the late Isabella Williams of Pine Bluff Arkansas, and was the eldest of nine children; Early “Cressie”, Maeola, Pastor James “Pete”, L.C., Anna “Bay” deceased, Ethel, Beatrice (B.B.), and Edward Earl.

His happiest moments were being a Father and having his family, grandchildren and friends around him.

A “Celebration of Life” family gathering will be held at the family's home. All Family and Friends near and far are welcome to attend.
