Charles Raymond Treiber

Treiber, Charles Raymond, passed away peacefully on February 9 th, 2024, at the age of 78. Chuck is survived by his two daughters, Christina and Molly; sons-in-law, Jeremy and Matt; and grandchildren: Juliet, Madeline, Teddy, and Anabelle. He is also survived by his former wife, Katherine (Tierney) Schwerin, as well as his sister, Judy; brothers: Jack, Joe, and Bill; and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Julia Treiber, and his brothers, Richard and Tom.

Chuck will be remembered for his Air Force service in Vietnam, as an avid Bridge player, a JRR Tolkien fan, a marathon runner and downhill skier, for his cooking expertise, volunteer service at St. Joseph’s Hospital and St. Jude the Apostle School, as past President of the Brown Deer Men’s Golf Club, and for his life-long love of golf.

Military Honors will be bestowed on Chuck on April 12th at 9am at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in Union Grove, WI. An open house reception will follow at Saz’s State House from 11-3pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans. You are able to donate below.
