Carol Ann Chandler

Carol Ann (Lundeen) Chandler fell asleep in our Lord on October 24, 2024. She was born on May 31, 1946 to Raymond and Cinda Lundeen and was baptized and confirmed on February 16, 1965.

She graduated from United Township HS and attended Moline Institute of Commerce and worked at Moline Public Hospital.

Carol married Overton (OB) on August 27, 1967 at St.John's Lutheran Church in East Moline Illinois. She is survived by him, sons Matthew (Samantha) and Sean. Further survived by grandchildren, Berkeley and Joshua Chandler, nephew Mark (Glenda) Eldridge, nieces Susan (Brian) Ketner and Jane (Kirk) Vickers. also Meredith (John) Pordon, Scott Eldridge, Luke and Jacob Ketner, Raegan Vickers; special friends Krisi Karski and James Uhaley and many other friends and relatives.

Over the years, Carol did child care for some 25 different children. She also worked as a switchboard operator for Red Owl Foods in Minnesota and an assembler for G&M Assembly in Waukesha.

After the family moved to Menomonee Falls, she was active in school functions as a room mother and was also a member of the Women’s Guild at Prince of Peace.

Due to health issues for the last several years, she spent more time at home doing sewing and quilting.

She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Cinda and her sister, Linda(Merle) Eldridge.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on November 23, 2024 at The Lutheran Church of the Prince of Peace, W152 N7149 Pilgrim Road in Menomonee Falls. The visitation will be from 9-11 am , service at 11 am and a luncheon following the service.
