Obituary

Bryan James Terek, age 49, passed away on December 11, 2025, surrounded by those who loved him deeply. Born and raised in West Allis, and most recently making Milwaukee his home, Bryan lived his life with humor, heart, and a quiet strength that inspired everyone who knew him.

Bryan shared his life with his loving partner and soulmate, Megan Humitz. Together they shared countless adventures, laughter, and quiet moments that meant everything. He was surrounded by unwavering love and support from Declan Humitz, Gavin Humitz, and Jonathin Kannegeisser, who cherished him as family.

Bryan was employed for many years at Nassco, Inc., as a Warehouse Associate, earning the respect of his coworkers through his reliability, work ethic, and dedication to his job.

A true Milwaukee sports fan, Bryan loved nothing more than cheering on the Brewers, Bucks, and Admirals. His love of the games extended to his ever-growing bobblehead collection. He found joy in the simple, authentic moments in life - flea markets and thrifting trips with Megan, discovering treasures and creating memories along the way. He was a lover of nature, enjoying quiet times camping or around a backyard bonfire. As an animal lover, his gentle spirit extended to every creature he met.

Bryan was kind-hearted, loving and funny - someone whose presence made even an ordinary day feel lighter. He faced every challenge with remarkable courage. A glioblastoma warrior and recipient of two kidney transplants, Bryan's resilience was unmatched. To all who knew him, he was the strongest fighter around and a true inspiration.

Bryan is further survived by his parents, Donald and Kathleen Terek, as well as other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bradley Terek.

In keeping with Bryan's wishes, no memorial service will be held. His loved ones take comfort in knowing his strength, humor, and love will continue to live in their hearts. He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. Please honor his memory by spending time in nature, sharing a laugh, or showing kindness to one another.
