Arthur G. Wagner “Bud”, age 89, of the City of New Berlin (formerly the Town of Rome, Nekoosa) died Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at the VA Hospital of Milwaukee - Hospice Care.

A Funeral Mass will be held for Bud at Holy Apostles Catholic Church in New Berlin on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 9:30am. His service will be followed by a private family luncheon. Later this fall he will be buried in Spring Branch Cemetery in the Town of Rome. The Cremation Society of Milwaukee and Waukesha are assisting the family. 

Bud was born July 2, 1935, in Milwaukee, to Arthur and Helen (Kurkowski). He served in the United States Navy from 1953-1956. He married Mary Vogel on October 4, 1958, in New Berlin. He had a successful career with WE Energies, retiring in 1994. Bud and Mary moved to Lake Arrowhead, WI, and built a lovely home, while enjoying their beautiful retirement. Bud’s interests included golfing, woodworking, and gardening. 

Bud is survived by his three daughters: Lynn (Michael) Peschek, Lori (Stan) Klosiewski, Lisa (Jerry) Schlitz; his grandchildren: Joshua, Jordan (Matt), Luke (Alison), Leah (AJ), Landon, Kayla, and Morgan; and seven great grandchildren. Also, his very special lady friend, Kathy Lehner. 

Bud was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary of 62 years, his parents, and his sister Joyce Conroy. 

Bud will forever be remembered and he will be dearly missed. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Tunnel To Towers Foundation, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or to the family for Masses.
