Anne Rene Powers

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anne R. Powers, age 68, of Pewaukee, Wisconsin. Anne passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 6, 2024.

Born on October 10, 1955, Anne was the beloved daughter of the late Richard and Joyce Powers. She was a resident of Wisconsin for 54 years and a proud member of the Pewaukee community over the last 26 years.

Anne retired from the Falk Corporation in Milwaukee where she spent her entire career. Anne's greatest joys were her family and friends. She was passionate about sports, having played softball for many years and enjoying watching Little League on TV. Anne liked games and puzzles, reading mystery novels, and spending time by the lake, often getting coffee with her friends downtown and taking peaceful walks in the serene Pewaukee surroundings she adored.

Anne was easygoing and enjoyed getting to know others, showing genuine interest in how they were doing and what was engaging them. Though her battle with cancer was daunting, Anne’s positivity was inspiring and a testament to her strength. She continually found ways to try new things and to laugh, such as naming her traveling infusion therapy device “Timmy”.

Anne is survived by her siblings: Winn (Sue) Powers of Nekoosa, Wisconsin, Jean (Charles) Beyer of Pewaukee, Wisconsin, and Vern (Vicki) Powers of Cheyenne, Wyoming; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

In lieu of a funeral service, Anne’s family will plant a tree in her memory in her condo courtyard where she enjoyed spending time and connecting with friends.

Anne will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will live on in the love and memories she shared with those around her.
