Ana L. Sanchez Diaz, de 68 años, de Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, falleció el 11 de julio de 2026, rodeada de las personas que más amaba. Nacida y criada en Puerto Rico, Ana llevó consigo la calidez de su isla a lo largo de toda su vida. Se dedicó a la educación con profunda alegría y vocación, ejerciendo su labor como maestra con amor y entrega. Sus estudiantes no eran simplemente alumnos, eran parte de su corazón. Esa misma generosidad la llevaba consigo a donde fuera, con un don especial para hacer amigos y hacer sentir bienvenido a todo el que se cruzaba en su camino.

Por encima de todo, Ana era el corazón de su familia. En sus últimos días, viajó a Wisconsin para estar cerca de sus nietos Zofie, Ainoa, Aiden, Jiahao y Ana Sofía porque no había ningún otro lugar donde quisiera estar. Así era ella. Era el hilo que mantenía unida a la familia, la que reunía a todos y se aseguraba de que nadie se alejara demasiado.

Le sobreviven su amado esposo, Carmelo, y sus hijos, Miguel y Glorimar, quienes la amaron profundamente y llevarán su luz con ellos para siempre.Ana será recordada por su risa, su calidez y la manera en que hacía sentir a todos que pertenecían.

Eligió el amor hasta el final. Nunca será olvidada.

Ana L. Sanchez Diaz, 68, of Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, passed away on July 11, 2026, surrounded by the people she loved most. Ana carried the warmth of her island with her throughout her life. She devoted herself to education, finding deep joy and purpose in her work as a teacher. Her students were not just pupils they were part of her heart. She brought that same generous spirit everywhere she went, with a gift for making friends effortlessly and leaving no stranger ungreeted.

Ella era el hilo que mantenía unida a la familia.

Above all, Ana was the heart of her family. In her final days, she traveled to Wisconsin to be near her grandchildren: Zofie, Ainoa, Aiden, Jiahao, and Ana Sofia because there was nowhere else she wanted to be. That was who she was. She was the thread that kept the family woven together, the one who gathered everyone close and made sure no one drifted too far away. She is survived by her beloved husband, Carmelo, and her children, Miguel and Glorimar, who loved her deeply and will carry her light with them always.

Ana will be remembered for her laughter, her warmth, and the way she made everyone feel like they belonged.

She chose love until the very end. She will never be forgotten.
