Alnina Mae Schulz (nee Quesnell), aged 93, passed peacefully at home with family.
Nina was born and raised in Milwaukee and was a long time member of St. Sebastian’s Parish. During her school years she was in choir, student council, and took 2nd place in a citywide C.Y.O. sewing contest. Education was important to her and she returned to school later in life, earning the degree of Associate in Arts.
When Nina was 15 she started dating Imbert Schulz. They were married on January 7, 1950 and shared 70 years together. Nina was a devoted wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma. She enjoyed camping, swimming, playing cards, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Nina is survived by her children: Dan (Linda), Jean Alberte (Mark Hudson), Jan Niemczyk (Mike), Joan Stingl (Mike), Judy Kapsos, Jeanette Schulz, David (Linda), and Jennifer Lichucki (Matt). Further survived by 25 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded by her loving husband, Imbert; son, Donald; granddaughter, Mary Schulz; and many other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Nina’s life will be held on Friday, April 26th at St. Sebastians’s Church, 5400 West Washington Blvd., Milwaukee. Visitation from 1-3 with Mass at 3:00. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to St. Sebastian’s School Foundation (
