Alice Ann Barnes (nee Paiser)

September 5, 1947 — May 11, 2021

On 5/11/2021 at exactly 5:00 p.m. the sweetest angel on earth went to Heaven because "it's 5:00 somewhere" Alice aka Ma/Annie/Nana. She found the humor in everything and had many t-shirts saying "it's 5:00 somewhere". Everyone that knew her loved her and we were all so blessed to have so many great memories with her. She had the biggest heart, best laugh, was extremely kind, found the joy in everything, loved life, her family, the Brewers & Packers, funny t-shirts and warm Milwaukee's Best Lite. Alice was born in Shawano, WI to Arlie and Emma (Kleeman) Paiser and was the baby of the family, having an older sister and brother, Katherine and Paul. She graduated from Shawano High School in 1965 and moved to Milwaukee to work at Travis Auction Galleries and has lived in St. Francis for the past 15 years. Alice had many medical issues throughout her life including 3 kidney transplants, with the last kidney with her for 44 years and after the doctor's advising against having children, she had a baby girl in 1979 weighing 1 1/2 lbs and 12 inches long, That miracle baby will be 42 in just a few weeks. Alice is survived by her beloved daughter Shawnee Barnes (Randy), granddaughter Scarlett Rose Reyes, St.Francis, WI, sister Katherine Schultz of Franklin, WI, brother Paul (Loretta) Paiser of Green Bay, WI, dear friend Nancy Miller of Milwaukee, WI, niece April Schultz of Muskego, WI, great niece Alexa (Alex) Troyer of Franklin, WI, Wendy (John) Marzion, great nephews Anthony, Nathan and Trevor of Muskego WI, niece Tuesday Heesacker, great nieces Jenna and Emmy, Green Bay, WI, niece Annette Paiser, Green Bay, WI, niece Julie (Chris) Lancelle, great nieces Hali and Hannah, Green Bay, WI, niece Jolene Lemerond, great nieces Teona, Larissa, Autumn and Katalina, niece Dawn (Mark) Paiser, great niece Sidney. The Barnes/Webster/Schwamp/Fengier/Faber/Jackson/Penkert and Nowak families. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, aunts & uncles, Marty Wine, Colleen Reyes, Byron Schwamp and Virgil Barnes.
